 Peako Racing was created as a 600cc W.E.R.A  Motorcycle Road Racing Endurance Team. The Team was named after a stage coach line from a Bob Wills Movie. In 1989 Larry "Tippy" Tipsword became involved in Off Road Racing as a passenger and track helper with the Lincoln Trail Off Roaders. Peako Racing was reborn as an Off Road dirt racing team in 1992 with Tippy competing in the Mid America Off Road Series driving a Class 12 Sportsman Buggy owned by Bill Albin. Peako Racing Team is still active in MAORA and LTOR with a Class 7e truck entry.
